A few weeks ago we decided to go to Tampa after considering going to a skateboarding competition in Saint Pete. It took a lot of planning and it was stressful to look for a place to stay at until we ended up finding where to crash. Nico and Offir let us stay with them.
We grabbed some fast food before leaving and made it to Clearwater towards midnight. so the first night we hung out with Nico and Offir for a little bit and then went to bed after Abraham set up a deck.
Woke up the next day early and they had breakfast for us. After having breakfast we went and met up with my friend David at the skate park of Tampa. We also met up with Tim, Rodolpho, and Paolo.
After warming up we got some drinks, and we headed to downtown Tampa. We went to a spot with with a grass gap. Abraham David Tim and Paolo were trying the gap. After a quick session Tim dislocated two toes and drove to the hospital. this man was acting like nothing happened to him, the most nonchalant attitude I’ve ever seen when a skater got hurt. John the filmer of skate park of Tampa was also with us and after the grass gap spot we went to a different street spot to warm up for a little bit longer then John left with some other skaters he met up with and went to a different downtown spot, we went around the campus at FSU and we skated around. The guys from Tropical by Reefa showed up (Nico & Offir) and they took us to some stairs sets where we were getting some footage until it started raining heavy on us.
After that happened we just regrouped at Tampa skate park. One of our friends came from Miami, so we met up there and we had a little post skate session at the skate park. After a long day we grilled some steak and had a couple of beers.
The following day Offir made breakfast for everyone. She made us açai bowls so we were ready to skate right after. And then around noon we went to Saint Pete skate park and we skated until 6 PM. We went back to Nico‘s and Offir’s house, had some food and came back to South Florida
At the end of the day it’s just better to let things flow I was very stressed at the beginning about finding a place to stay at, but then we had friends there who allowed us to crash. It was an awesome weekend and we never made it to the skateboarding competition at Saint Pete we just hung out with our friends in Tampa.
